I was diagnosed with a tremor about y2000 though I have had it much longer. I've been taking a doctor's prescription for Sinemet for several years and am currently taking two Sinemet tabs every three hours--for the past three years.
I began taking SE in February 2007. At that time, I was feeling that my condition was notably worsening each day,
I started with SE 12 - 16 caps per day (two at a time along with the prescription). After about three months of this, I began to the realize that I was no longer feeling worse each day. In fact, I then started feeling better each day.
About this time a physical therapist I was seeing encouraged me to use the treadmill and try to get up to 2 mph for 5 minutes. When I began the treadmill, I had a hard time lifting my foot and I had to hold on, I could not swing my arms.
I now work out at our fitness center three times per week. My normal self-prescribed fitness routine now includes 20 minutes on the treadmill, starting out at 2.8 mph and concluding with the 20th full minute at 4.3 mph. I have done the final minute at 4.5 mph but that's yet too much. Swinging my arms freely is now normal and I do not use the support bar at all.
